General cleaning

1. Clean with a damp cloth after use
2. Do not use a dry cloth as the surfaces are not scratch resistant
3. Do not use acetone, benzol or similar solvents
4. Always remove the electrolyte when the machine is not in use.
5. Grease and oil can be removed with ethanol

Daily

1. You must clean the system when you have finished using the machine
2. Clean all accessible surfaces with a soft, damp cloth for the control unit
3. Use the cleaning function to clean the polishing unit. When the cleaning program has finished, use a damp cloth to wipe all surfaces of the polishing unit.
4. Wipe the inside of the polishing unit where the electrolyte container is stored and thoroughly clean all masks that have been used.

Monthly

1. Calibrating the pump

Annually

1. Testing safety devices by a qualified technician. The polishing unit has a protective cover with a mechanism which interrupts power to the polishing unit if the cover is opened during a process.
