This instrument is a high performance Xray diffractometer. It is mostly operated in the traditional Bragg-Brentano geometry. Accessories include various Soller slits and a graphite monochromator, useful for iron rich samples.
If you are affiliated with KTH, you must complete the mandatory Radiation Safety Course in order to get the XRD license. Register for the course here. The certification from the course is valid for 5 years.
