The Struers TenuPol-5 is an automatic twin-jet electrolytic polisher to thin the specimens, from both sides simultaneously, for transmission electron microscopy. It is consisted of two separate units – the control unit and the polishing/thinning unit.

The instrument uses a sample with a diameter of 3.0 mm.

TenuPol-5 is mostly used for bulk metallic materials, e.g. steels, aluminum alloys.
